It is so difficult to write this post, for many reasons. I haven’t written one in ages, to be precise since 2019. A lot has changed. I met my life partner, we got engaged, I feel very lucky in many ways.
Unfortunately, I had a scan in January 2020 which showed a big progression. I was warned by the radiologist that I could develop hydrocephalus if I have a small cold or runny nose. I decided to have a biopsy in the UK even though some people discourage me from having it.
It went well. It happened on Friday and I went home on Sunday. It showed I had astrocytome grade III on brainstem and cerebellum which we expected. So didn’t surprise us much.
If you want to read more about my treatment, what I declined, how covid affected everything and where I am now, let me know.
